It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce to our Orange County community that we overcame a major step this week and restarted the Mikvah building.

As everyone knows, we had a set back late November where we discovered that the plumbing and electrical drawings had to be revised and changed due to a complication with our site.

The plans went back and forth between our architect, mechanical & electrical engineers and Rabbi Katz, our posek from New York.  The plans were submitted to the city of Irvine and took three separate visits to get approval.

Because of the changes, we had to get new bids for the plumbing work and finalized the entire scope of work this week.

Our goal is to send new updates and photographs on a weekly basis.

The Mikvah committee which includes representatives from Chabad of Irvine and Beth Jacob have been meeting twice a week and will continue to meet twice a month.
